Our commitment

Miami Wellness is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to people with disabilities, including those who use assistive technologies. We believe that everyone — regardless of ability — deserves equal access to information about their healthcare options.

Conformance status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice for accessible websites under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for healthcare providers under Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act.

We have an active, ongoing program to identify and remediate accessibility barriers on our site. We perform regular automated and manual accessibility audits, and we engage with users who report barriers to resolve issues quickly.

Compatibility

Our website is designed to be compatible with the following:

  • Recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge)
  • Common screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
  • Mobile assistive technologies (iOS VoiceOver, Android TalkBack)
  • Keyboard-only navigation

Known limitations

We acknowledge that despite our best efforts, some content on our site may not yet meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We are actively working to resolve all identified issues. Known limitations as of the last review include:

  • Some color combinations on legacy pages may not meet AA contrast requirements (in active remediation)
  • Some downloadable PDF forms have not yet been fully remediated for screen-reader use (in active remediation — accessible web-based alternatives are being prioritized for forms required to access services)
  • Some embedded third-party content (e.g., social media feeds) is outside our direct control; we are working with vendors to improve accessibility
