KNEE INJECTION
Knee pain can result from mechanical “wear and tear” of the joint lining or from other causes, such as meniscus or ACL tears. There are different types of knee injections and other non-surgical options for treating knee pain. Corticosteroids, hyaluronic acid, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) are some of the treatments we offer for pain and stiffness that can be debilitating and often difficult to treat. Weight management, exercise, physical exercise, medications, knee injections, and surgery are some of the approaches used to treat knee pain. Knee pain can also result from fracture, joint malalignment or dysfunction, and referred pain from other areas, which can also be treated with bracing and nerve ablation or burning.
