Carpal tunnel syndrome is typically due to compression of the median nerve as it travels through the carpal tunnel. This syndrome is associated with tingling, numbness, and sometimes pain into the hand. Carpal tunnel injection is a quick outpatient procedure where we inject a small amount of anti-inflammatory into the carpal tunnel region in an effort to alleviate some of the compression and improve function.
